The Centre School went to Caxton. For British school karting champion with 6 people in the team   there was Jordon R, Ashley P, Kyle T, Jack M,

Eden W and me. We raced 2 races what were 10min each. We all done well but we could of

Done better. We All put effort in the racing even sue raven we could hear her all over the track but the One who we all thank is Kyle T.

I did the British School Karting Championship at Caxton and the school had a team there was me , Jordan , Curtis , Kyle , Eden and Jake between us we came 4^th and 7^th out of 7 teams .

For this terms activity I've been doing about the Soham train disaster in 1944. Basically the gist of it is we needed more bombs for the war so a train carrying bombs was heading to Essex but one of the waggons caught on fire and if they went off major catastrophe would happen to Soham so James Nightall had to detach the burning waggon with his bare hands before it caught on to any of the other 50 waggons full of bombs.

In the end Ben and James took the train away. but the bombs in the burning waggon went off destroying houses and killing James Nightall and Frank Bridges the signalman. Ben was blown 200 yards away from the train he survived and till the day he died he was always picking bits of shrapnel out of his body. Ben Gimbert and James Nightall were awarded the highest honour a civilian could receive - the George Cross.
